Hey Product Hunt! šŸ‘‹ I'm Terry, founder of TraceKit. I built this because small teams deserve real APM without the enterprise price tag. The problem: Datadog, New Relic, and Dynatrace are amazing - but they cost $500+/month. That's not realistic for indie hackers, small startups, or side projects. So most of us end up flying blind in production. The solution: TraceKit is full-stack APM at 1/10th the cost. You get everything you need: distributed tracing, metrics, health monitoring, and alerts. Plus something the big players don't offer at affordable tiers - live breakpoints to debug production without redeploying. What you get: šŸ“Š Distributed tracing - see full request journey across services šŸ“ˆ Metrics & health monitoring - know when things break šŸ”“ Live breakpoints - capture variable state in production, no redeploy šŸ¤– Anomaly detection - get alerted before users notice šŸ“¦ Embeddable widgets - show status on your own site ⚔ 2-minute setup - tested with 20+ developers šŸ’° $29/month - free for student and products without revenue What developers are saying: "At $29/month, it's much simpler than Datadog for what we need, without feeling stripped down." - Adil Ali, Fullstack Developer "Getting started was close to the advertised 2-minute setup. What stood out was how quickly the first trace appeared." - Fantahun Fekadu, Senior Backend Engineer Built on OpenTelemetry - no vendor lock-in. Supports PHP, Laravel, Node.js/Express/NestJS, Go, Python, GemVC and React Native. I'd love your feedback! I tested TraceKit on Laravel and got everything running in about 20 minutes. Once config caching was cleared, traces showed up correctly in the dashboard. Nice lightweight tool for production debugging and monitoring. Highly recommended.
