I'm Ethan, and I've spent the couple months building Toque on my own.

It started with a simple annoyance: every restaurant I walked into had a QR code on the table pointing at a PDF that was slow or an out of date hard to use PDF. And every time the kitchen changed a price or ran out of something, the fix was a reprint or verbal communication that maybe hard to convey ahead of time.

So Toque works like this: you photograph the paper menu you already have, and in about twenty seconds it's an editable menu. Style it anyway you'd like, and it's live at toque.menu/your-restaurant with a QR code that never changes. From then on you edit from your phone: 86 a dish, bump a price, and every menu and every printed code stays right. Guests can read it in 68 languages with one tap, and you get to see which dishes they actually open.
