Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Mohit, the person behind Tool Web. Over the past year, I've often found myself opening several different websites just to finish small tasks like formatting JSON, converting images, generating gradients, or working with code. That made me wonder why these tools couldn't live in one simple place. So I started building Tool Web in my free time. It's still growing, but my goal is simple: create tools that are fast, easy to use, and don't get in your way. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Love the simplicity here, bookmarking this for sure. One thing that would make it way more useful for me: a dark mode toggle that respects the system preference, since a lot of these tools I open late at night. Would also be great if the favorites I pin synced across devices.

@dorian_luan Thanks so much, Andrea! I really appreciate you checking it out and bookmarking it. 😊 You're absolutely right about the system theme—that's something I'll definitely look into. As for syncing favorites across devices, I intentionally designed ToolWeb to be completely privacy-first. Everything runs locally in your browser, and your files and data never leave your device. Because of that, there isn't a server or database storing personal data for syncing. It's a trade-off I made to keep the tools fast and private. And if there's any browser tool you've always wished existed (or one you think could be built better), I'd genuinely love to hear your ideas. Thanks again for the great feedback!

Love that this exists, browser tools are way underrated. One thing that would make it stickier for me is saved tool history or favorites per category, so when I come back I can jump straight to the converter or formatter I used last time instead of hunting for it again.

I'm really happy you found it useful. 😊 Saved history and category-based favorites are great suggestions—they'd definitely make it much quicker to jump back into the tools you use most. I'll be working on adding something like that. And if you've ever felt there's a browser tool missing from the market, or one that could be done much better, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm always open to building features people genuinely need.
