Relationship check-ins made fun. Too Shy, Too Shy helps couples make space for appreciation and honest reflection. Add notes privately throughout the month: three things your partner did that made you feel loved, and up to two things you’d like more of. Then sit down for your monthly Big Reveal, a fun slideshow that gives both of you room to share, be honest, and former a stronger connection. Free to use.

Inspo: I saw this clip from divorce lawyer James Sexton, who suggests regularly setting time aside to tell your partner three things they did that made you feel loved that week, alongside anything you could have done better and vice-versa. The logic: appreciation, reflection and honesty are things you need to make time for regularly. Not revolutionary advice, but something we wanted to actively implement.
Problem: in reality, remembering is impossible. Things get skewed, one partner can dominate the conversation, and the negative tends to take up more airtime. We considered a Google Form, notes app, but it felt clunky.
So I built Too Shy, Too Shy. It is free: https://tooshytooshy.lovable.app
You and your partner privately add little notes throughout the month under specific headers: three cute things they did, plus up to two things you need more of. You can save, edit and come back whenever.
Then comes the monthly "Big Reveal", where you go through both sets of answers together as a simple slideshow of each other’s thoughts. It structures the conversation, and gives you both equal airtime. The countdown to the big reveal day also creates accountability.
Result: we are now on month three and it has become a cute, constructive routine we genuinely look forward to on our monthly anniversary. We book dinner somewhere nice and go through our Big Reveal together.
It's helped us so thought we'd share. Feedback and feature ideas also welcomed.
