It felt like the words had nowhere to go. Turns out, there's decades of research behind this. Psychologist James Pennebaker found that writing unsent letters — addressing someone directly without sending — significantly reduces stress and helps process difficult emotions. It's one of the oldest pieces of therapy advice, but there was no dedicated space for it online. So I built one. ToNobody is dead simple: Write a message to someone (an ex, boss, family, friend, stranger, or yourself) It posts anonymously — no accounts, no emails, no sign-up No one replies. No comments, no DMs. You write, you release, you leave. What surprised me most is how reading other people's unsent messages feels.
