So many tipping calculators either have an unintuitive UI design, or they flood the user with ads per a bad privacy policy. TipZap processes your information completely on-device and provides tipping suggestions through an in-app file using the device’s region information. No ads, just numbers! For me, the UI is intuitive, but that’s really for the user to decide; it has a built-in number set arranged as on a calculator, and the information required to get the result flows from top to bottom. Tipping suggestions round the experience off by providing information for eight countries! Do you already know your country’s tipping standards, or are you unsure how much to tip?
