Hey all — made this because I kept burning time hunting for footage I knew existed but couldn't find. Screen recordings, b-roll, old project folders, all of it just... lost in the pile. I looked at the existing media asset management options first and most of them are built for post houses and teams — cloud storage, per-seat pricing, way more than a solo editor needs. TinySlate is the version of that for one person: it uses AI (or Apple's own on-device models, if you'd rather keep everything local and offline) to tag your clips with titles, keywords, mood, location, even transcripts and on-screen text — so you can actually search your footage instead of scrubbing through it. Once you've pulled the clips you need, storyboard them into a sequence and send a rough cut straight to Final Cut, Premiere, or Resolve. $45 flat, that's it, no subscription, no team plan you don't need. Built this for myself first, figured other solo shooters drowning in footage might want it too. Happy to answer anything.
