We think of people concerned with the privacy issues of conventional messaging apps (poor transport security, their centralized nature, metadata collection, behaviour tracking, intrusive ads). These people are not necessarily looking for a full replacement of their current messengers but rather for an extra tool to take care of their most sensitive conversations

Hi Dima! Congrats on the launch! Upvoted! Design is neat! But please check the gallery with appeared images. I can see only 3, the rest are not working Now I am a user of Telegram. Why should I start using Tingl? What is a killer- feature? How do you want to promote your product?

@anna_kasumova hey Anna, thanks! Can I reach out to you directly to investigate the gallery issue? I do use Telegram for some conversations as well. The core feature of the current version is chatting with exclusive privacy. Compared to Telegram, Tingl is fully anonymous (signing up with with Metamask), is decentralized (unlike Telegram which stores all the messages using a centralized entity) and is not government-controlled As for promotion, we are currently doing a soft launch to validate the concept. Our full-scale promotion is coming with the v1 launch in Q1 2024 and I would be happy to share the high-level plan later

Compelling concept, I think anti-messaging is a bit counter-intuitive haha. :) When I clicked, I thought it'd be a 'Pay to message me' type service. Congrats on the launch!

@esus Thank you! We take managing connections seriously so restricting who can message you to the ones who have enough tokens or are ready to pay you for reaching out is one of the many Tingl features to come

@kingromstar hey, message transport is carried out by our P2P network that scales horizontally by increasing the number of service nodes. Nodeholding will be encouraged through token reward incentivization
