What do people think of Timeular?
I was an early backer of Timeular from Zei in October 2016. The idea is a perfect combination of analog and digital with the excellent tactile element of a physical product. This is the modern hourglass only multi-dimensional and digitally connected. The ease of use is great. The aesthetic of both the device and the software is beautiful. The best compliment that I can give is that the product has continually evolved and improved. Not an easy task when coming from a crowdfunded beginning.
I've tried basically everything for productivity, and while there are many other great time tracking tools out there, this is the best. Something about the manual action of starting to track, plus having a physical visual cue for what you're supposed to be doing, is unmatched by the other solutions to this problem.
Playing with my Makerkit is a lot of fun, but took a while to get it right. I really like having the physical object to turnover, but the apps also work great on the phone. Main downside is that when my laptop is shutdown / hibernates, the zei does not always reconnect. Means I just use the app instead.
And their team is really understanding and helpful as well.
Simple and intuitive to use, great overview of analyses, syncronisation with all devices, connection with e.g. Google Calendar to have time recording entered into the calendar in a sustainable way, great combination with Timeulars ZEI! And so much more! Best tool for time recording in every way.
I've been using ZEI's Timeular for almost a year, it's been a tremendous help in time tracking and beats every other method I've had previously
Haven't found an alternative, not really interested in looking for one - this works for me
