TimeSpender helps you understand the real cost of what you buy — not just in money, but in the time you work to earn it. With just a glance, you'll see how much of your day, week, or month each purchase takes from your life.

Your time is non-refundable. Why spend it on a whim?
We’ve all been there: 2 AM, three tabs deep into an Amazon spiral, thinking, "I deserve this ₹799 gadget." But as a solo dev who built this tool from the ground up, I started wondering: How many hours of our lives are we actually handing over for these clicks?
Meet TimeSpender 🕒
I built this Chrome extension to give us a reality check where it hurts (and helps) the most. It sits quietly on your favorite shopping sites (Amazon, Flipkart, you name it) and translates those price tags into the only currency that actually matters: your life.
The TimeSpender Lens:
The Price: ₹799
The Truth: "This costs 3.2 work hours" or "Equivalent to 4 blissful coffee breaks."
Why I built this (and why you need it):
The Mindful Nudge: It’s not about being cheap; it’s about being intentional. I wanted a tool that forced me to pause and ask, "Is this blender worth two morning meetings?"
Total Privacy: I’m a woman who values her space. Your data stays in your browser, period. I have no interest in your shopping habits. I just want to help you master them.
Solo-Built with Love: Designed for the frugal nerds, the productivity hackers, and anyone who wants to own their time instead of selling it for "Lightning Deals."
TimeSpender turns your shopping cart into a reality check!
That ₹6499 gadget? Boom—12.4 work hours! 💼
It’s like your wise friend who says, “Do you really need that?”
No guilt, no spying—just good vibes and smarter buys.
Add to Chrome before you add to cart 😄
Thanks for the math and realized 1 weekend of work = 1 PS5
@mhrnik Thanks! The reason behind making this extension is to become mindful while purchasing anything. I hope it helped!
