Hi @claudiocodispoti , At this prototype stage, we are just encrypting the videos to our storage. If there is enough traction, all data will be encrypted, and the opening of the Timepod will be hashed to ensure only the recipient can open it. There are other features on the pipeline that use password-protected Shamir secret sharing to ensure the privacy of more sensitive data.

@blanximm nice to know, still concerned on the privacy side a lot and I will be very happy to see a good rate of improvement to feel 100% while using the service. Well done up to know, I'll start my experiments and see how it goes in the next weeks

Great idea of wanting to pass down stories, memories and messages to future generations or to unrelated loved ones. Isn’t that what wills/attorneys, videos/letters given to a trusted source to hold until...and then delivered to the chosen person, etc. are for? There are so many other more personal options out there. This is a good idea - just a bit misguided.

Thanks for the feedback @lylystyx Could you point us out to this more personal experiences? We want to disrupt this industries by making it very cheap and accessible without the need to go to visit an attorney. Also a Timepod can contain the number of a lock that opens that box you left, linking it to the real world is up to you!

Great way to send messages to the future. I like to surprise my girlfriend with it but I also created few of them to give a bit of suspense to message. I am looking forward for the social media options they advertise as coming soon.
