Tried RescueTime → hated that my screen time lived on their servers Tried Rize → $276/year felt absurd for time tracking Tried Freedom → kept disabling it when I "needed" to check social media I wanted: automatic tracking + privacy + one-time purchase + Mac-native Couldn't find that combo. So I built TimeLens. 🔒 WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT: - 100% local storage (CoreData, zero network requests) - Optional iCloud sync (encrypted, Apple can't decrypt) - $39 one-time (not $20-30/month subscriptions) - Mac-native SwiftUI (not Electron) - Focus scoring per project (you define what's productive) - Future: CBT-based gentle reminders (awareness, not blocking) 😅 THE INDIE STRUGGLE: Yesterday I tried to launch: - Reddit (r/macapps): Blocked by karma restrictions - Twitter: Zero engagement (no audience) So Product Hunt is my REAL launch.
