Pedro Teixeira
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Pedro Teixeira, Founder & CTO of TimeClout. This product didn’t start with a pitch deck or a business plan. It started with a complaint I heard from friends working in a medical unit. They were drowning in spreadsheets, group chats, and handwritten notes just to manage their weekly shifts. It was a massive time-sink, and the errors were causing real stress. Being an engineer, I said those famous last words: "I can probably write a script for that." 😅 That "script" quickly evolved into TimeClout—an AI-powered platform designed to solve the optimization puzzle of workforce scheduling. Why TimeClout? The hard part isn't tracking shifts; it's creating the schedule in the first place. Balancing time-off requests, fairness rules, qualifications, and coverage needs is a mathematical nightmare to do by hand. TimeClout handles the heavy lifting: 🤖 AI "Autofill" Solver: Define your rules (preferences, rest times, fairness), hit a button, and our algorithm finds the best possible schedule instantly. 🏢 Industry Adaptable: Whether you run a medical unit, a retail shop, or a dev-ops on-call rotation, it adapts to your needs. 🔓 Open Source at Heart: While we offer a managed SaaS for convenience, I made the decision to open-source the code. You can check out the repo here: https://github.com/djinilabs/tim.... I believe you should never be locked out of the tools you rely on. We are launching our Private Beta today and I am looking for feedback. I want to know if the scheduling flow feels right for your specific industry and what we can improve. I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day—let me know what you think! Cheers, Pedro
