Review of TimeCamp

I have probably used a dozen different time tracking apps & processes.

Recently I had need to track a lot of time & task details on a couple of projects. The issue with most time tracking tools is if they do not exist within your existing software set, it can be a drag to use yet another app. My one exception to this rule is a standalone mobile app which TimeCamp provides.

Currently I am using (and demoing) the free single user license and I have entered about two weeks of time I had been jotting down in a notebook. Time entry is quick, intuitive and flexible with ample room for notes.

There is a companion desktop and downloadable versions which allow you to upgrade for a broader feature set plus integrations and other bells & whistles.

I use TimeCamp's manual time track. My workflow usually:

- When I want to work on a certain task, for example Project-A, set the timer

- Focus on that task

- Turn of the timer when its done.

One feature that I've not found at other time tracker is TimeCamp allow you to move your tracked time. For example, you accidentally work on task Project-B when you set the timer to Project-A. TimeCamp allow to move your time from Project-A to Project-B.

TimeCamp tools help me better manage my time at work. I can see which projects or tasks are taking too much time and where my time actually goes. The number of options available is huge and I think everyone will find the best way to tailor this tool to their needs. Great job guys!

Timecamp allows you to keep track of all your projects effortlessly. You don't have to download anything, though you can install their desktop app. I use it mostly on the web browser and it's very simple. I've been using it for quite a while and I've never had any trouble with it, which is not an easy thing to say about time tracking software. At the moment, it's my absolute favorite.

I've very happy with TimeCamp. Here's why: I am a very small business. TimeCamp allows me to keep up with my time for a very low cost for my business while also producing excellent reports. TimeCamp also appears to want to help their clients and cares about their needs and concerns. This is very important, because when starting a business companies that you must use their products to survive can be discouraging. TimeCamp makes it simple.

Review of TimeCamp
I've been mostly using Timecamp to track the time spent for each of my projects while working as a freelancer. It's super easy and you can add multiple task/project scope under each "client". Moving into an agency, they used a super old system that honestly, it's a pain whenever I open the browser. So personally I stick to using Timecamp to track. Then at the end of the month, you get detailed monthly/daily reports! It's super helpful when I need to update my agency's timesheets. Most definitely recommend this to anyone who are looking for a time tracker :) (honestly, I haven't found any cons)

Review of TimeCamp
TimeCamp delivers what it promises. It’s a very user-friendly app for time tracking. I specially appreciate the structure on Projects and Tasks and the simplicity of creating Projects and Task in 2 clicks. It’s capacity to manage different team members and track both billable and non-billable hours is also an asset. Recently they changed features for the free model, which, in my opinion, limited the flexibility of the report capacity while at the same time offered export capabilities that were not so useful (so in a balance, the free version lost part of their flexibility) The application also have automatic tracking (such as “time dedicated to mail” by connecting the app to your computer usage) that I find disturbing. So I simply don’t use it. As final conclusion, with pros and cons, TimeCamp is the best application I have used so far for time tracking.
