Timebook is time tracking, invoicing, and bookkeeping in one app - built for one freelancer, not a team of 50. Start a timer, send a polished PDF invoice, watch the bank payment land, and let it auto-categorize for tax season. Connect your bank via Plaid, import statements, or log time from the CLI or ChatGPT (MCP). $29.99/mo flat. No per-seat, no tiers, no upsells. 14-day trial.
Hey PH 👋 I'm the solo dev behind Timebook.
This started as a tool for myself. I run a one-person LLC, and every month I was paying for three things to do one job: a time tracker, an invoicing app, and bookkeeping software - none of which were built for a single person. They're all designed for agencies with an accounts team. I just wanted to bill some hours and not dread tax season.
So I built the loop I actually wanted: start a timer → send a PDF invoice → the bank payment lands → it gets categorized → the year is tax-ready. One app, $29.99 flat, no per-seat, no tiers.
The part I didn't expect to love: I wired it up over MCP, so I now log time by just telling ChatGPT "log 2 hours on the Acme project." That turned into a proper ChatGPT connector and a CLI. Tracking time stopped being a thing I avoid.
It's deliberately US single-LLC focused and deliberately small - no team features, no upsells, no growth-team dark patterns. 14-day trial, no credit card to start; $29.99/mo flat after.
Would genuinely love feedback from other solo folks - especially what's missing in your own time→invoice→taxes loop. I'm here all day.
