I'm Josh. By day (well, mostly afternoons and nights) I work as a coal miner. A while back I got hooked on AI tools, and there were so many of them I couldn't tell which ones were worth my time or money. So I built TierLoot.
It ranks AI tools the way gamers rank characters: S, A, B and C tiers. It covers coding, agents, chatbots, image, video, voice, writing and research. Each tool lists its price and whether it has a free tier, plus the date that info was last checked. There's also a "New this week" feed, head-to-head comparisons like Claude Code vs Cursor, and a short weekly newsletter called "This week's loot."
Honest part: it's brand new and small. It's free, with no login. Sponsor spots are always labeled and can't buy a better tier.
