TidyFam started with a problem I was facing at home. Our biggest struggle as a family was keeping up with cleaning. My kids are at an age where they're ready for an allowance, but we believe they need to earn it. So we tied their allowance to cleaning tasks around the house. In theory, this sounded great but we struggled to track the tasks, how much we owed them, and whether we'd already paid them. This became a daily headache. After talking with other parents, I learned they were dealing with the same thing. We tried a few different apps, but nothing felt right. So I decided to build an app to solve the problem for my own family. After testing it with my family and finding something that worked, I decided to turn it into an app for other families facing the same challenges. The app is called TidyFam, and I just launched the first version on web. iPhone and Android versions are in the works. TidyFam lets you create a free account, invite family members, assign tasks with specific allowances, and track what you owe your kids. It also features a simple family leaderboard and badges. I hope it helps your family as much as it's helped mine.
