TicketReady is a free, browser-based practice tool for people preparing for entry-level IT support. Rescue vague help-desk tickets by selecting the seven notes the next technician needs, then receive an instant score, category feedback, and a stronger example handoff. V1 includes six fictional challenges, requires no account, and takes roughly two minutes per challenge. Built by SecBuild Lab as our first public product experiment.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
We’re building SecBuild Lab, a small product laboratory focused on practical IT, security, and software tools. TicketReady is our first public experiment.
The idea came from a simple problem: people preparing for help-desk roles can study IT concepts, but realistic practice in documenting and escalating support issues is harder to find. We wanted to make that narrow skill interactive and easy to try.
TicketReady gives you a vague fictional ticket, asks you to choose the seven notes needed for a useful handoff, and provides instant scoring and feedback. It’s free, requires no account, and currently includes six challenges.
We built V1 with AI-assisted development using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Our goal now is to learn from real users rather than keep adding features in isolation.
If you work in IT support, teach IT, or are preparing for your first role, we’d especially appreciate your feedback. Are the scenarios realistic? Is the feedback useful? What would make you want to practice again?
