Hi Karen! 👋 Congratulations on launching Tibah, your companion on the journey to self-improvement! It sounds like a great tool to help people understand themselves better and align their actions with their goals. I'm curious, how did you come up with the idea for Tibah? And what sets it apart from other self-improvement apps out there? Can't wait to hear more about it!
karen steinkühler
Hey @goyashy great question! Before I started building Tibah, I used Notion and designed my own "personal life system" where I had all my reflections - it is a bit of hussle to set everything up though and I did not like how much time it took. But with time it was worth it, because I collected the best self reflection questions and figured out what key elements of reflection are. Not too many, not too little. With Tibah users do not take such a long time to set up their journal, they have all their information in one place and they always have their journal with them. The real differentiation though is that the reflections feed on one another (which I have not seen in any other app out there). That means when you have filled out your daily reflections you can see the information in your weekly reflections without needing to go back to the past entries. This makes it way easier to concentrate on reflecting on the information and not searching it in one of the entries.

it's interesting tool and there is market for this, in managment I prefer more science based solutions - It could be great to creat MBA tool kit, there is a lot of profesional solutions conectet to MBA leavel of managmet also similar to self development attitude. Personaly I used to use this model to self development - Max Weber's The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism :).

Hey @radek_bloch great to hear, that you see a market for this. I'll look into what you mentioned in your comment. For now Tibah uses mostly system thinking and the best questions / tools I have discovered in the field of personal development. It does not follow a strict framework, but more of a collection I found most useful in the last years.
