Thumbvolt is an AI YouTube thumbnail studio: describe your video, pick a style, optionally add your face, and get a pack of four 16:9 thumbnails in seconds. Free packs every month - Pro is $0.99/mo with unlimited packs plus video transcripts.

The generated thumbnails look solid but I wish there was a way to A/B test a few text overlay variations side by side rather than getting one fixed text treatment per pack. A simple toggle to swap font weight, color, or placement across the four thumbnails would make picking a winner way easier.
honestly looks solid, the free packs are a nice touch. one thing that would help a lot is letting us upload a reference thumbnail you like so the AI can match the vibe, like color grading and text placement. basically a style transfer option would make this way more useful for keeping a consistent look across a channel.
Tried it on a travel vlog idea and was surprised how well it picked up the vibe I described, the four options actually felt different instead of slight variations. The face swap was a little uncanny but workable for $0.99.
Picked a style and tossed in a quick face photo, and the four thumbnails came back faster than I expected with actually usable layouts. Wish the face blend was a touch sharper, but for a free pack this is pretty solid.
A/B testing variants within a pack would be huge — maybe let me swap text overlays or tweak colors on two versions and see which one performs better.
Description to thumbnail pipeline is impressively tight, the four-pack felt usable on the first run. Wish the face swap blended a touch better at the hairline but for a free monthly tier this is genuinely handy.
