Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Ali, the founder of Thumbish. I’m excited to finally share something I’ve been working hard on.
I’ve always believed that a great YouTube thumbnail is much more than just a good-looking image. It needs the right concept, composition, visual hierarchy, curiosity, and an understanding of what makes someone want to click.
But creating thumbnails that consistently get these things right takes time, creativity, and often a lot of back-and-forth with a designer. Existing AI image generators can create impressive visuals, but getting a thumbnail that actually fits your video and channel style is a different challenge.
That’s why I built Thumbish, your AI-powered thumbnail agent.
Instead of simply generating an image from a prompt, Thumbish works with you throughout the creative process. Share your video idea, title, or script, add reference thumbnails, and select your favorite YouTube channels for style inspiration. Thumbish helps develop a concept, create the thumbnail, and refine it through conversation until it gets closer to your vision.
You can also personalize your designs with your own face and use channel references to achieve a more consistent visual identity.
We’re still early, and I know there’s a lot of room to improve. My goal is to make Thumbish the best AI thumbnail agent for YouTube creators, and feedback from real creators is incredibly valuable to me.
If you create YouTube content, I’d love for you to give it a try and tell me what you think.
A question for the community: What do you find most challenging about creating thumbnails: coming up with the concept, getting the design right, or making it stand out from competitors?
Thanks for checking out Thumbish! ❤️
