ThrowKit turns the Apple Watch on your throwing arm into a darts sensor. Throw as usual; your iPhone then shows how repeatable your motion was, with a consistency score and five measures for every throw. Guided drills on the Watch. No account, no ads.
I'm the maker of ThrowKit. I play darts (left-handed), and I kept wondering whether my throw on a good night actually looks different from a bad one. The Apple Watch was already on my wrist, so I built it.
How it works Wear your Apple Watch on your throwing arm, start a session and throw as you always do. The Watch picks up your throws from the wrist motion and counts darts and visits live. Afterwards your iPhone analyses every throw on five measures (wrist speed, drive length, drive effort, follow-through and rhythm) and gives the session a consistency score from 0 to 100.
What it deliberately doesn't claim The score says how repeatable your motion was, not how well you threw. The Watch sees your wrist, not the board, so ThrowKit doesn't know where your darts land. Until a validation analysis shows a link between consistency and results, the app won't pretend there is one.
Also inside ⢠Guided drills on the Watch: Around the Clock, Thirty at one target, the Hundred-dart set ⢠"Tonight": the measure that repeated least closely lately, with a drill to try ⢠Match mode: mark legs on the Watch; matches stay out of your practice numbers ⢠An on-device coach using Apple Intelligence where available (Pro) ⢠Apple Health workouts and heart rate (Pro)
Private by design No backend, no account, no ads, no analytics. Recordings stay on your Watch and iPhone.
Pricing Free to download and record. Pro: ā¬4.99/month, ā¬29.99/year with a 14-day free trial, or ā¬59.99 lifetime.
It's for new subscribers, until 28 Oct 2026 or the first 500 redemptions. After the 3 months it renews at ā¬29.99/year unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings.
I'd love your feedback, especially from anyone who throws darts or builds for the Apple Watch. Ask me anything!
Hey Product Hunt š
I'm the maker of ThrowKit. I play darts (left-handed), and I kept wondering whether my throw on a good night actually looks different from a bad one. The Apple Watch was already on my wrist, so I built it.
How it works
Wear your Apple Watch on your throwing arm, start a session and throw as you always do. The Watch picks up your throws from the wrist motion and counts darts and visits live. Afterwards your iPhone analyses every throw on five measures (wrist speed, drive length, drive effort, follow-through and rhythm) and gives the session a consistency score from 0 to 100.

The score says how repeatable your motion was, not how well you threw. The Watch sees your wrist, not the board, so ThrowKit doesn't know where your darts land. Until a validation analysis shows a link between consistency and results, the app won't pretend there is one.
