Hey everyone — maker here 👋
I built ThreatScoped after seeing how often “is this safe?” gets answered with guesswork.
In most environments, the process is still:
→ download software
→ maybe scan it
→ if nothing flags, install it
But that doesn’t actually verify trust — it just checks if something is already known to be malicious.
Working in IT/security, I kept running into situations where tools looked “clean” but still raised questions when you looked deeper (signatures, reputation, behavior, etc.).
At first, I was doing all of this manually:
- checking sources
- validating signatures
- reviewing scan results
- digging into behavior
It worked, but it was slow and inconsistent.
So I started standardizing the process into something repeatable — and that eventually turned into ThreatScoped.
The goal isn’t just to scan software — it’s to answer the real question:
“Should I trust this?”
