Thanks for great app? Is there an option to configure intervals between tweets posted as a thread?
Felix Scholz
@davert Thanks! Not yet, but it's a good idea. Are you looking for short intervals (eg. 5, 10, 15 minutes) or like a daily one?
davert
@fscholz short, 5-10 they make a twitter thread to appear more natural, like person is actually typing the next tweet. Unfortunately in other apps it is paid feature and I don't understand why. But yeah, for me this is important and I am still writing threads by a tweet 😃
Felix Scholz
@davert got you, yeah I'll think of how I can add that, but shouldn't be too hard. I've so far only had the idea of "drip threads", where you'd post one tweet each day. But shorter delays make a lot of sense as well 👍
davert
@fscholz drip threads is a good idea. I have written a fiction book and currently I'm publishing it as a twitter thread 4 tweets per day! It is done via GitHub action. According to my calculations the all book will be published in 10 months 😂 I'm just making an experiement because I know people don't read books, they read twitter. And what I think is benefit here, that you can cite and retweet any piece of the book. So I'm on 3rd month of this experiement. Not so many engagements yet, but the most interesting part of the book is not yet published 😂
Felix Scholz
@davert that's an awesome experiment! 10 months is quite long, though, haha 😂 is it all in one long thread?
Galia
Super cool a great tool to increase engagement on twitter posts congrats on the launch
Felix Scholz
@galia1999 It absolutely is! And thank you 🙌
Rachit Bhatt
Twitter threads are really powerful, but difficult and pain in the a#$ to create. Thanks @fscholz for building this product, and @__tosh for sharing this. Know a few intellectual heads who would love this. Will share!
Felix Scholz
@__tosh @rachit_bhatt1 thanks so much, Rachit! 🙌 Yes, they really are and I'm trying to fix this with ThreadStart. I really appreciate the support!
Michael Yagudaev
Felix has put a great deal of love ❤️ and attention to small delightful details. So glad to see it finally on PH 🚀🚀🚀
Felix Scholz
@michael_yagudaev Thanks, Michael! Haha, yeah it took a while to get ready 😊
Satyendra Sahani
Congrats on the Launch @fscholz , I was checking the pricing page. what was 'label' meant?
Felix Scholz
@satyendra_sahani Thanks, Satyendra! the labels are tags you can assign to your postings. it helps you group them together. Say you're posting different marketing tips, you could create labels for SEO, email, social, etc. - I'm planning to incorporate these more into the analytics, you will be able to tell which types of content resonate with your audience
Satyendra Sahani
@fscholz Sounds exciting. Great work there 👍
kie
Looks good, but seems to be quite buggy. Constantly getting 404 or 500.
Felix Scholz
@kie Oh no, let me check the logs real quick
Felix Scholz
@kie can you check again? It should be solved now. If you still have some troubles, can you send me a DM?
kie
@fscholz It works now! Thank you!
Yakubu Yusuf Tambaya
What difference does it have from the other schedulers out there?
Felix Scholz
@yytambaya Hey Yakubu, the main difference is the thread editor itself. It works similar to the text editors most people are used to (like Word or Google docs) in that you can create lists, add images, split the tweets etc. all within the editor without having to learn shortcodes. While they are very common among devs & bloggers a lot of users did not like using them. The other side is that I see writing threads & scheduling content for consistency as two different things that require different editors. That's why I addded the quick scheduling editor, which focuses on quickly filling up your queue of scheduled tweets. It's a very different flow than with threads.
Yakubu Yusuf Tambaya
@fscholz This is awesome. I will try it later during the day
Felix Scholz
@yytambaya Awesome! Let me know if I can help you somehow
