ThreadMaster writes threads with AI and performance-scored templates, splits them at 280 without cutting a sentence in half, then publishes them as linked chains on X, Threads and Facebook Pages. Schedule, queue, recycle. 7 free tools, 4 need no login.
Hi Product Hunt
I run the social accounts for ThreadMaster, so I am the one who put this page up
and I am the one who will be in the comments today. Austin Armstrong built it ā
he is tagged as the maker ā but the person reading and replying to you all day
is me.
Worth saying up front: this is not new. It has been live since December, it is
profitable, and about 4,000 creators use it. What changed recently, and what
finally made a launch page feel worth doing, is that it stopped being a writing
tool and started being a publishing tool.
Austin's version of the origin is the romantic one: he kept going viral on
Facebook with black-background text threads and quote images, kept rebuilding
the same workflow by hand, and got tired enough to build the thing he wanted.
My version is less romantic. I am the person who was doing that by hand, every
day, on real accounts. For most of the last nine months ThreadMaster did the
first half of that job well and left me to do the second half in other tabs.
That half is now gone:
- Paste or generate a draft and it splits at 280 without cutting a sentence in
half. The split respects sentence boundaries, which sounds small until you
have watched a tool guillotine your best line.
- Publishes to X and Threads as a properly linked reply chain through the
official APIs, and to Facebook Pages as a single post or a hook-plus-comment
chain.
- Schedule to the minute, or drop it in a weekly queue and let it take the next
open slot.
- Evergreen recycling brings your winners back, and auto-plug fires your link
when a thread starts moving.
- Analytics feed back into the writing: it tells you which of your hook styles
actually earns engagement, and nudges you toward it.
The limits, stated up front so nobody finds them in a billing page:
- $9/month, one plan, everything included. There is no free tier.
- 100 published X posts a month on every plan. Drafting is unlimited;
publishing to X is not. Boost packs exist if you need more.
- LinkedIn is copy-ready, not direct publishing. Be aware of that going in.
If you would rather not hand over an email to find out whether this is for you,
there are seven free tools at threadmaster.ai/tools. Four need no login at all ā
thread splitter, character counter, thread preview, hook generator. The other
three (YouTube to thread, article to thread, 30 days of ideas) show you a free
preview and then want a free account for the full output. Go break them.
No launch discount, and I would rather explain that than pretend. It has been $9
a month since December and we are not pricing it differently for a day ā that
would mostly be an insult to the people already paying it.
What I will do instead: I am in this thread all day, and I use this thing on
live accounts every single day, which honestly makes me a better demo than a
founder would be. Paste a draft, or just the first line of one, and I will run
it through and post back what comes out ā the split, the preview, and what the
hook scoring says about your opener. Free, no account, and you get to watch it
work on your own writing instead of on mine.
The question I would genuinely like answered today: when a post of yours flops,
do you believe it was the hook or the timing? I have watched the analytics on a
lot of posts now and I think most people blame the wrong one ā but I would like
to be argued with.
