What do you think? …

Varun Srinivas
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Varun, an indie maker and the creator of Thoughts Left. I built this after realising that most productivity apps pushed me to collect more tasks, notes, and systems when what I actually needed was a simple place to unload what was in my head. When your mind feels full, planning should come later. I also wanted a way to dump thoughts quickly without having to decide where they belong upfront. Sometimes it’s a task, sometimes a note, and sometimes it’s just a thought that doesn’t need to stick around. So Thoughts Left is designed around a simple idea: Capture first → decide later. You can quickly dump a thought (text or voice), then choose whether it becomes a task, a note, or something you consciously let go of. No folders, no streaks, and no pressure to stay “productive.” I’ve been building and refining this in public, learning from real usage and feedback, and keeping the app intentionally lightweight and calm. The goal is to reduce mental friction and make everyday thinking feel a bit easier. I’d genuinely love to hear what you think—what works, what doesn’t, or how you currently deal with mental clutter. Happy to answer any questions, and grateful to be here. Thanks for checking it out.
