What do you think? …

Noor
I just followed it. Very legit reviews. Thanks for sharing the handle.

@nooruzzonline thank you and happy to have you onboard 😃

One of the best Instagram account I followed, pioneering a new format to share smart content in an aesthetic way

Pros:

Sharp, Smart and Sweet

Cons:

Would love to see more of it! Daily posts?

David Boutellier
Probably the most focused and no-bullshit product review page out there. Always combining a user and VC perspective leading to unique insights and thoughts about cool stuff out there. Really helps you straighten your thinking when evaluating new stuff and thinking about your own product. Useful as both a review and discovery platform. The design speaks for itself. Overall really great approach from @gyllanderjenny Looking forward to new reviews.

@david_boutellier1 thank you David, so kind of you! And you recommended one of the product I ended up reviewing; the Five Minute Journal - thanks for that! 😄

Love the idea

Pros:

Very inspirational! In my role I am always looking for innovative brands to partner with. Jenny's page is the perfect place to start!

Cons:

None

Absolutely love thingtesting. It's by far the smartest account on IG -- it's super refreshing to actually get some value out of my feed vs. the overly edited selfies that people post. Ok maybe I should look at what other accounts I follow.. But thingtesting FTW -- love what @gyllanderjenny is doing!
Jenny Gyllander
@anssi_rantanen Thank you Anssi. Other accounts I really like/find insightful: @gelcream @the.xandwich @compostthat @subwaybookreview @itsnicethat I'd love to know what accounts you all love and follow to get some more inspiration!

Jenny has created a new model for what VCs should do: She is helping cool companies get exposure in a beautiful way, rather than just promoting their own portfolio companies. More importantly, she is making VC thinking concrete, practical and accessible, rather than keeping the analysis behind closed doors. I wish more people had the courage to start companies, so giving access to this kind of insight is invaluable.

Pros:

Genuine and honest reviews of products I haven't heard of, but I wish I had.

Cons:

Would love old twitter char limited tl;dr version

This is the reason why I left instagram. It became a marketing tool.

@tostartafire A lot of ads you are right - but to be clear; I don't get paid for these reviews and the only rule on my page is 100% honesty. Guest posts by other investors cannot for example be investors in the products that they review.
