Theya API

Thank you for checking out the Theya API! My hope is that it will support the coming wave of FemTech applications in a growing industry. The burgeoning landscape of FemTech applications has the potential to offer myriad options that can support health and well-being. This resource is designed to make it easier for developers to start contributing to this space today.

While exploring this space, I noticed that most fertility analytics were either overly simple calendar methods or opaque "black box" algorithms. Developers need a tool that is both explainable and easy to integrate while also prioritizing end-user privacy.

I built the Theya API as a response to the above. Theya is a privacy-first, stateless API that gives you access to sophisticated fertility analysis logic that implements the Sympto-Thermal Method from the scientific literature.

Some of the key features include:

Transparent Science: Analyzes cervical mucus, BBT, and cycle history using the established principles of the Sympto-Thermal Method.

Stateless & Private: No user data is ever stored, which eliminates your data liability.

Nuanced Predictions: Provides not just dates but also a confidence score for each prediction and warnings for data inconsistencies.

Lifestyle Adjustments: The API models the real-world impact of high-stress or intense exercise on ovulation predictions.
