Themia turns your Windows desktop into a personal dashboard. Add transparent widgets for email, calendar, weather, stocks, files, system stats, and more — 28 in total. Drag them anywhere, style them how you like. The best part: create different layouts for Work, Home, and School, and switch instantly. Lightweight, no subscription.

Hey everyone! I’m Nathaniel, a systems engineering student from Switzerland. I built Themia because the Windows 11 widget panel never really felt useful to me. It always seemed more like a news feed than something that helps you get things done.
Themia lets you place transparent widgets directly on your desktop, including a clock, weather, calendar, email, system stats, stocks, and more. There are 28 widgets in total, all fully draggable and customizable. It’s lightweight at under 10 MB and designed to feel like a natural part of Windows, with proper drag and drop, context menus, and keyboard shortcuts.
One feature I use every day is context switching. You can create different desktop setups for work, school, or personal use, each with its own widgets and wallpaper, and switch between them instantly.
The free tier includes up to 5 widgets with no time limits or interruptions. The Pro version is a one time purchase of $19, with no subscription or hidden fees. I believe desktop tools should be something you own, not rent.
I’m launching today with a 40% discount and would really appreciate your honest feedback. This is a solo project and I’m actively working on improving it.
Happy to answer any questions 🙂
