Further’s content suggestion is backed by AI, so the suggested content gets better over time as the app gets to know you. There are more than 2 million content available within the app (which would roughly take you 38 years to get through 🤯), and all of them are delicately categorized for accurate suggestion. You may ask, how? Well, this is where our Ultimate Skill Extractor comes into play! HOW? Doesn’t Ctrl+F do the same work, you may ask. However, the Ultimate Skill Extractor does more than just searching for words within the text and say “I found it!” 🥳 What makes it a piece of Artificial Intelligence is that it has been trained by more than 1 million online available content from our library and extracts the skills depending on their relevancy points. 👋 Hey PH! Kağan here, one of the Lead Developers of Further team and an AI enthusiast. Today, we are super excited to launch our Skill-Suggestion AI. We started working on this project around 1 year ago. When we are gathering our data, we encountered a huge gap in the tools available online for classifying any kind of text available online with in-demand skills in the world. Now with the launch of Further Skill-Suggestion AI, we’re so glad to bring an API solution to this problem. 🤖 What’s Further Skill-Suggestion AI technically? To summarize, we fine-tuned RoBERTa with our massive dataset which includes millions of contents available online from different kinds of sources and topics. Since our contents are from different sources which focus on different kinds of topics, our topics (content tags) are distributed naturally. Moreover, we performed huge modifications on the base implementation of RoBERTa in order to adapt Extreme Multi-Label Text Classification and process longer texts.
