The Type Chart turns scattered Pokémon reference data into a focused iPhone and iPad experience. Check attacking and defending matchups, explore game-specific Pokédex data, build and analyze teams, learn with guided lessons and type trials, and get quick pick suggestions for Pokémon Champions. Core features work offline and are free, with no account, ads, or tracking. TTC Pro is an optional one-time upgrade for advanced analysis and deeper stats.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I grew up using resources like Serebii, Bulbapedia, and plenty of official and unofficial type charts. The Type Chart came from wanting a modern, focused reference tool I could keep beside me while playing Pokémon, whether I needed a quick matchup answer or wanted to understand the reasoning behind it.
What started as a type chart gradually became four connected parts: exploring Pokémon data, checking battle matchups, building teams, and learning the chart through lessons and challenges. I’ve also built a tool for Pokémon Champions (a mobile and Switch competitive battling game), including quick pick suggestions based on the opposing roster and battle format.
I wanted the core experience to be genuinely useful without requiring a purchase, so the Pokémon data, matchup tools, Team Builder, lessons, practice sessions, and challenges are free. TTC Pro is an optional $4.99 one-time upgrade for advanced analysis, customization, sharing tools, and deeper stats. There’s no subscription, account, advertising, or tracking.
Version 1.0 is only the starting point. I’d especially love feedback on what feels unclear, what Pokémon info you look up most often, and what you’d want the Champions tools to consider.
Thanks for taking a look! 📊
