The Promptists is a vetted marketplace for AI prompt artistry, both image and video. You post a project with a fixed budget and accredited Promptists (prompt engineers, AI artists, creative directors) apply, so they compete on the quality of the proposal, not by underbidding. A guild-vetted alternative to Fiverr, Upwork and PromptBase, with every practitioner graded by skill. Launched November 2025; 3,000+ Promptists registered in the guild.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ohneis, founder of The Promptists.
Brands keep telling us the same thing: AI creative talent is everywhere, but vetted, reliable talent is hard to find. Fiverr and Upwork bury you in bids; PromptBase sells files, not people.
So we built a marketplace only for AI prompt artistry, both image and video. You post a project with a fixed budget, and accredited Promptists apply. Because the budget's fixed, they compete on the quality of their proposal, not by racing to the bottom on price. Every practitioner is graded by skill (Apprentice → Artisan → Maestro), so you know what you're getting. We launched in November and the guild's already 3,000+ strong.
I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially if you've ever hired (or sold) AI creative work. What would make you trust a marketplace like this?

How does the vetting process actually work for getting Promptists into the guild, and do clients ever get to see who specifically rejected an application if quality matters that much to their project?

@cengizkzla7e6h Hi Cenzig. Ohneis and the curation team personally review every profile and portfolio submitted, to check for sufficient evidence of skill and capability. Only guild members who are approved are able to be invited to briefs by clients, so it's irrelevant to clients who wasn't approved through that process - they will never need to engage with them. Hope that answers your question. Best, Jay, platform manager

Posted a small image project and got three solid proposals within a day, each with actual concept sketches instead of generic pitches. Love that the pricing felt more about fit than racing to the bottom.
Posted a small project and got thoughtful proposals back the same day. Love that it feels curated rather than a race to the bottom.

@slah4jh yes that was really important for us. Ohnies (@ohneis652 on TikTok and Insta) has been leading the charge for the wider AI creative industry around this push for quality, so great to see it reflected in your experience. Appreciate the feedback.
