Artists needed a transparent alternative to pay-to-play submission platforms: a free place where a human curator listens and independent music from MX-LATAM-ES can be discovered.

The New Indie Wave started from a simple frustration: independent artists—especially across Mexico, LATAM, and Spanish-speaking scenes—deserve thoughtful human ears, not opaque submission funnels.

We’re building a free, human-curated alternative to SubmitHub. Every submission gets at least a 1:30 listen, and we only pass along tracks that genuinely fit. No bots, no credits, and no pay-to-play.

Three questions for early makers and artists:

1. Is the submission flow clear enough from first click to confirmation?

2. What feedback would be most useful after a human listen: fit, mix/master, or release/positioning notes?

3. Which genres, regions, or Spanish-language workflows should we support next?
