A self-hosted ecommerce platform for developers who build stores for clients: a NestJS REST API on PostgreSQL and Redis, an Angular admin dashboard and a server-rendered Analog.js storefront in French, English and Arabic, installed on your own Linux server with one setup command.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Badii. I build The Merchant Engine on my own.
I build online stores for clients in Tunisia and the Gulf. Most of them need things the big hosted platforms treat as extras: Arabic with a real right-to-left layout, French next to it, and cash on delivery as the main way to pay. I kept rebuilding the same backend for each client, so I turned it into one engine.
What you get:
A NestJS API on PostgreSQL and Redis, an Angular admin and a server-rendered storefront, in one repository
French, English and Arabic (RTL) out of the box
Cash on delivery, Stripe and manual payment
One command to install: ./setup.sh asks for the store name, brand, locales and currency, then starts the stack
MIT license. No paid tier, no license key, no caps
You can click around the storefront and admin demos without installing anything (links are on the site).
The feedback that would help me most: what would stop you from using this for a client store? And if you try the install, tell me where it stopped or how long it took.
