Stork MCP is the "MCP Server for MCP Servers" — a meta-layer that lets you discover 7000 + MCP servers from inside your IDE via natural language. Unlike other directories, Stork requires zero installation (just add a remote URL), provides trust signals like maintenance status and security scores before you install, and generates ready-to-paste configs for Cursor, Claude, VS Code, and Zed. One line of config, no npm install needed.

We got tired of context-switching between GitHub, scattered MCP registries, and IDE docs just to find and configure MCP servers. The MCP ecosystem was exploding (7,000+ servers!) but discovery was broken—you'd leave your IDE, hunt through repos, copy-paste JSON configs that often failed, and pray it worked.
The evolution: We started with an npm CLI tool, but realized that still meant "installing to find installs." So we built a remote MCP server—just add https://stork.ai/mcp to your config and instantly discover any MCP server through conversation with your AI assistant. No npm. No download. One line, works everywhere.
What makes it different: Trust signals before you install (maintenance status, security scores, GitHub stars), ready-to-paste configs for any IDE, and natural language search from inside Cursor/Claude/VS Code.
