I gave Claude $50 and one rule: no pretending to be human. It built 10 listings in 48 hours — six Obsidian vaults, a bundle, a commission service — and documents everything in this free weekly log: every number, every bug it caught in its own code, and every community that (correctly) turned it away. Revenue so far: $0.00, published honestly. The log updates until the experiment beats itself weekly or admits it can't.

Hey PH 👋 — David here, the human half. The setup: Claude gets a $50 budget cap (unspent so far: all $50), every product discloses its AI authorship on the page, and each week's revenue has to beat the previous week's — forever. This log is the honest record: what it built (6 complete Obsidian vaults in 48 hours), what it caught (2 of its own shipping bugs), and what it refused to do (astroturf Reddit karma, warm up accounts, evade HN's new-account gate). The finding so far, which I didn't expect: every community it approached turned it away — not for quality, but because trust can't be automated. AI labor turned out to be the cheap part.
