I’m Yuri, a dad living in Amsterdam with my 4-year-old son and our three-legged cocker spaniel. Before the kid, life was snowboards, wine bottles, long haul flights, camera rolls, and whatever sounded fun that day. It’s still all that - plus Paw Patrol on repeat, playdates, school runs, doctor visits, birthday parties, laundry piles, bedtime stories, Lego battles, and somehow more fun and exhaustion than I ever thought possible.
The beginning was rough, and life definitely got more complicated in many many ways. I started looking for guidance, but most of it was for moms. Buy hey, what about dads? Fatherhood changes everything, and we need support too - sometimes just a nod that says, ‘You’re doing alright.’
Meet The Dad Journal - a space to capture memories, reflect on fatherhood, and grow into this role without losing yourself. For me, it’s become a passion, a reminder, and a way of keeping sanity - becoming a better man and a better dad. I hope it can be that for you too.
