The 30 Best Innovation Methods Book: Choose the right innovation method for the right problem

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Colin, the author of The 30 Best Innovation Methods. This book grew out of a problem I've encountered repeatedly as an engineer, innovation consultant and researcher: we have no shortage of innovation methods, but choosing between them is surprisingly difficult. Teams learn Design Thinking, TRIZ, SCAMPER, Jobs-to-be-Done, biomimicry and dozens of other approaches but much less attention is given to when each method is appropriate. My doctoral research explored this problem and led to a framework for classifying and selecting innovation methods. I've spent the years since applying and developing these ideas in practice. The result is this 272-page book covering 30 methods, alongside practical guidance for choosing between them and understanding their limitations. It launches on 29 September.
