The 10% Engineer

Pandemic is hard enough on our mental and body. Research said 45% people work longer hours during the pandemic. There must be better ways where people can work fewer hours, smarter, and have more mental space to enjoy their day-to-day life. When I worked at Facebook there are numerous coworkers who asked me "heya Gogo, when do you work?" There are few engineering leaders, ICs, CEOs who came to me to consult about how to work smarter, not harder. I'd have 3 to 4 parallel non-competing jobs at the same time due to the amount of free time I had. I figured I'd just write what I've learned so far (both by practicing them and by seeing how my "student" practiced them) and aggregate the learning into this newsletter so I don't have to re-explain them. I am posting this in Product Hunt because I think the world would benefit more people who work smarter, especially in remote setup. Would love some constructive feedback to make this playbook even better!
