What do you think? …

Hi Product Hunters, I’m the founding author of Tent CSS. The framework was released into the wild just a couple of weeks ago and is constantly growing and getting better with feedback from other developers. If you get a chance to use the framework I would love to hear any feedback you have. As the slogan says, it is the essentials to make camp. You won’t find many fancy visual components here. Instead you’ll find the necessary building blocks to carefully craft your own web products. Tent CSS follows the philosophy of building up rather than tearing down. Many other successful and popular frameworks are kitchen sinks full of every possible component and utility you can think of. Which is great in theory but often ends up leaving you with a ton of features you will never use but will bloat your website asset files. So while you may have to rub a few sticks together to make a fire with Tent CSS you will be proud of the results you make. The framework is distributed with compiled CSS files and the Sass (SCSS) source. The source files are constantly being updated to provide better tools and methods for developers using the framework. From time to time new features will be added or modified to the distributed CSS. However the focus is to keep the outputted styles and minimal and lightweight as possible. Thank you for checking out Tent CSS!
