The reason i launched TengoFeed was because every time i want to have a good time and relax after a long day at work, feeling stressed or just want to enjoy a little bit, i open other social networks and i get hit with media that designed to divide users, promote rage-baiting and it felt like i had no control on what i wanted to consume as a user.
Another thing is messaging, i found it frustrating that every time i sent a message to my friends there was an invasive AI or algorithm reading and snooping on our conversations on other platform which claimed to be private or promoted end to end encryption; then why are my messages being scanned for?
We launched TengoFeed with the rest of the world in mind where internet access can be an issue at times, specially in the event of emergency situations or natural disasters, where life or death situations depend on a single message, so we introduced offline mode, no available on Android, which allows users to chat without cell data, wifi, or internet at all.
At this moment, TengoFeed is available as an interactive and mobile friendly web application and as an Android app, available immediately on the PlayStore, while working on launching the IOS Version.
Our marketing campaign for user acquisition has started in Haiti for the first quarter, then will pivot into Latin-American countries, Canada, USA, and Africa.
We are in beta pivoting to alpha version, where some of our users are from Haiti, but anyone in the world is welcome to join and enjoy its features and provide feedback.
