Most teleprompter apps stop at recording — you still export to another app to trim, caption and resize. AploCam closes the loop on one iPhone. Write your script, rehearse it with a natural voice that reads it back to you, then record in HD, FHD or 4K with a floating script you can resize and fade. Edit straight after: trim, filters, speed, backgrounds, captions, text. Keep scripts and videos in folders, export, done. Free to download. No data collected — everything stays on device.
Hey 👋
I built AploCam because I kept doing the same three-app dance for every video: teleprompter app to read the script, camera to film, then CapCut to cut it. Three exports, three libraries, and a lost afternoon.
AploCam does all of it. What I'm most attached to is the "practice with natural voice" mode — the app reads your script out loud so you can hear the rhythm before the camera is on. It changed how I write scripts, not just how I record them.
Version 1.1 just shipped with script folders, the floating script overlay, audio-only recording and the full editor.
It's iPhone-only for now (iOS 26.2+). Android is the question I get most — tell me if you'd want it and I'll prioritise accordingly.
Free to download, Pro subscription optional. Happy to answer anything, and honest feedback is very welcome.
