TekDefter helps businesses track credit, debt, payments, and balances in a shared online ledger. Instead of keeping separate records in notebooks, Excel files, or messaging apps, both sides can follow the same account history, add transactions, attach receipts, and simplify reconciliation.

How does TekDefter handle situations where two parties disagree on a transaction entry, and is there an audit log to see who added or edited what?
@mertcanbrto94c Thanks for the great question, Mertcan.
In TekDefter, who added or approved a transaction is visible in the transaction details. If a pending transaction is not approved or rejected within 7 days, it is moved to the archive with its full context: who created it, when it was created, and why it was archived.
We also keep records for rejected and deleted transactions. A reason is required when rejecting or deleting a transaction, and the ledger keeps details such as who performed the action and when.
These features are already active in the app. We see this as a core trust layer of TekDefter.
You’re very welcome to try it as well. We’re also working on fixed ledgers for credit cards and personal expenses to make TekDefter more useful for personal finance tracking.

Bunu TekDefter’in temel güven katmanlarından biri olarak görüyoruz.
TekDefter’i denemeni de isteriz.
Hi Product Hunt,
I built TekDefter after seeing a real problem in my family’s business. Credit, debt, payments, and balances were being tracked across notebooks, messages, Excel files, and memory. That made reconciliation harder than it needed to be.
The name TekDefter means “single ledger” in Turkish. It is hard to translate perfectly, but it explains the product very simply: two businesses, one shared ledger. That is the core idea behind TekDefter.
Instead of each side keeping separate records, TekDefter lets business partners follow the same account history, add transactions, attach receipts, approve records, and stay aligned more easily.
We are starting in Turkey, where current account tracking is a very common business habit, but we believe the need for simple shared ledger tools exists in many markets.

The goal is not to replace accounting software, but to make daily account tracking and reconciliation easier for small businesses that still rely on informal records.
I’d love to hear your feedback, especially from people who deal with credit, debt, or ledger tracking in their daily business.
