Tech AI Wire is a daily news site about AI and developer tools, written for the people who use the thing, not the people funding it. What makes it different: - Every story ends with "What this means for developers" - the takeaway most coverage skips - At least two independent, named sources per story, all linked - Prices, dates and benchmarks attributed in the text; rumors labeled as rumors - Published in six languages - No paywall, no filler - on a thin news day we publish fewer stories
Most AI coverage is business coverage in a hoodie. It tells you the valuation but not whether the thing actually shipped, what the API costs, or whether it breaks your build. That's the gap I built Tech AI Wire to fill.
Three rules, no exceptions: at least two independent named sources per story, all linked. Numbers, prices and benchmark figures attributed in the text. And every story ends with "What this means for developers" - that section is the whole point of the site.
Openly: a pipeline I wrote drafts the day's stories, and nothing publishes until I've read and approved it. AI does the legwork, I sign off and answer for the errors.
The hardest discipline turned out to be publishing less. On a thin news day it's two stories, not five. No filler to hit a number.
Six desks, six languages, no paywall.
