This product isn't really usable. You have to purchase it for $1.99 and then have everyone on our team purchase it too? So they all have to pay for it individually and get reimbursed? I'm not willing to pay $1.99 to try this app out and also have my co-workers pay the same $1.99 to try it out together.

@flowsion Agree, I'd buy it if there was a reasonable team plan, but no way are we asking employees to pay for a tool which the company should be providing. Will stick to Slack statuses instead.

@jamesstewart The main motivating factor was that there was no way to simplify communication without writing a block of text in a communication app like slack for simple messages and the requirement to join multiple remote teams at the same time, all of which we addressed with this app 😃

This is such a great idea, but I really wish it used Slack's status instead of it's own. As it is it's a complete non-starter for our team: I'm not going to get 30+ people to use ANOTHER status system.

@joshpuetz I agree. Everyone in my team is already using Slack, and it would be challenging to move them to a new system. An integration with Slack is a must for next iteration.

I’m personally pumped to see a product like this. 🔥 I wonder if it could be integrated into some popular communication platforms like Slack, etc, so people could only use TeamWatch, and instantly their status on respective platforms get updated. Apart from time tracking, which people may want or not ( debatable ) ... why cant I just use my Slack status for that? 🤔

@nauticality Completely subjective, my dear friend 😀 100% a valid point. We built it save a tiny bit of time and make it a bit more fun. But yes, completely replaceable by existing products. This just makes it a notch cooler 😉
