TeamVibe is the first grassroots coaching app focused on automated fair game time. Most team apps handle chat and payments. TeamVibe solves the real game-day problem: making substitutions fair, balanced, and stress-free. ⚽ Automatically balances total playtime 📋 Respects position preferences & real formations 🔄 Handles uneven squads (like 9 players in 7-a-side) 👀 Built-in transparency to reduce parent pressure No spreadsheets. No guesswork. No politics. Just fair, fun, rewarding football.
The story behind TeamVibe starts on a cool autumn morning, dew still on the grass, when my oldest son wobbled onto his first proper soccer pitch with the biggest grin I'd ever seen. He'd been kicking balls since before he could reliably walk in a straight line, so the moment he was finally old enough to play in a real team, we signed him up without hesitation.
Muster day arrived. Families huddled together in the crisp morning air, kids bouncing off the walls with excitement. We were split into teams, handed our little colored jerseys, and then a club official wandered over and asked the question nobody wanted to hear: "So, who's going to coach and manage this group?"
Silence. Tumbleweeds. Parents suddenly finding their shoes very interesting.
I looked at my son's face, already scanning the pitch with wide eyes, completely oblivious to the standoff happening between the adults. I put my hand up. I had zero coaching experience, zero support, and absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.
My philosophy was simple: have fun, build friendships, develop some skills, and most importantly, make sure every single kid got a fair go on that pitch. At 4v4 it was manageable. A basic spreadsheet did the job. Until one morning, after a match played under a grey winter sky, a parent pulled me aside and told me, in no uncertain terms, that his child had received far less game time than the others. I was rattled. I knew in my gut it wasn't true, but I couldn't prove it cleanly.
That was the first thought bubble.
A few years later the kids moved to 7-a-side, substitutions got more frequent, and fair game time became genuinely hard to track and even harder to demonstrate to parents. The spreadsheet wasn't cutting it anymore. I looked around for an app that could help and found mostly tools built for competitive clubs chasing trophies, not for a grassroots coach trying to make sure every kid felt valued.
That was the second thought bubble. And that's where TeamVibe was born.
