This project started out of frustration. I wanted a simple Pomodoro timer that stayed perfectly synchronized with my office partner, so we could do deep work and take breaks together. But I couldn’t find one. Most existing timers are built for individuals, so I built my own. Now I’m excited to share it with anyone who wants to stay focused together, whether with teammates, friends, or study groups.

A shared timer like this is genuinely useful for keeping a small group in sync. One thing that would take it further for me is letting the host lock the session so latecomers accidentally extending the focus or break minutes cant mess up everyone elses flow. Could even be a simple toggle when starting the room.
@engins54145 Thanks for the suggestion! I like the idea. The concept of this timer is a little different though. There are no hosts or rooms. Everyone joins the same globally synced timer, so nobody can extend or change the focus or break sessions. I wanted to keep the first version as simple as possible. More advanced collaboration features could be interesting in the future, but for now the goal is a single shared rhythm for everyone. Thanks for the feedback!
Shared sessions sound great for office deep work. One thing that would make it even better is a small dashboard showing who is currently on break versus in a focus block, so people in shared spaces can quietly plan around each other without needing to ask.
@serpilqhbc Thanks! I really appreciate the idea. The goal of this first version is simplicity. Everyone joins the same globally synced timer, so there are no rooms or separate sessions to manage. You can jump in anytime and instantly share the same focus rhythm. More advanced collaboration features might come later, but for now I want to keep the experience as simple as possible.
The shared sync logic is genuinely useful, especially the way it just works without forcing everyone to remember to hit start at the same time. Nice execution.
