Does it support voice messages from WhatsApp?
@wayne66 You can record voice messages in Teamily AI. I’d need to check whether you can forward a voice note straight from WhatsApp.
@wayne66 Yes, Wayne! Our agents can understand voice messages, along with photos, videos, links, and docs, so you can just talk to your team's agents the way you already do on WhatsApp. The premise is to integrate your any agent's API into WhatsApp, so we can set up direct group chats with the Teamily AI agent right there.
Great job team! May I ask how are permissions handled for Gmail and X actions?
@xwang146 Thanks! You can connect Gmail and X to an agent. For an email or post you want to review first, you can ask the agent to show you the draft and wait for your go-ahead. I’d need to double-check which actions you can restrict in the connector settings.
@xwang146 Thanks Amy! You stay in control. You connect Gmail and X yourself, choose which agents can use them, and can mute or remove an agent anytime. You can also tell an agent to always show you a draft and wait for your OK before it sends or posts anything.
👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Roxie, Head of Design at Teamily AI.
Really excited to finally share this one. I've always worked where design meets the future, and I've never seen a moment that needs it more. ✨
Every new medium gets designed twice. First by accident, wearing the shape of whatever came before. Then on purpose. Agents are still in round one: mostly one bot talking to one person, a shape borrowed from the last era.
Teamily AI is our shot at round two. People and agents work in the same room, with the same memory. It's also the first step toward what Aiden calls the agentic internet, and that's the part that hooked me.
That asks a lot more of design than nice screens. When should an agent speak up, and when should it stay quiet? What should it remember, and who gets to see it? Those answers shouldn't be buried in a settings page. They belong in every moment of the experience. Honestly, I can't imagine more exciting work for a designer right now.
In my second year here, I worked with our founders to build our identity from scratch, and I've been shaping the story and the experience ever since. We've rebuilt it several times, fast, and we're not done yet. 🚀
Plenty is still open. How proactive is too proactive in a group of ten? Who owns a memory two teams made together? 🙂
Huge thanks to our co-founders, @aidenchaoyanghe and @salman_avestimehr1 , and to the whole team. 🙏
If you try Teamily AI today, tell me what feels like the future and what still feels like just another chatbot. Both are gold. 💚
@aidenchaoyanghe @salman_avestimehr1 @roxie_ren go to it!
Team members should not have to copy the same brief into three different AI tools.
@sarasolomaker Drop the brief in the group chat once, then tag an agent when you need a hand. Your teammates can build on the same brief without pasting it in again.
@sarasolomaker That's the copy-paste tax we wanted to kill. Share the brief once in the group, and every agent works from the same context. One agent researches, another drafts, another designs, all building on each other's work.
Congrats on the launch! Curious how noisy a busy group gets with several agents 👀
@luke_pioneero Thanks! Even with a few agents in the group, they wait until someone tags them. Your team can talk things through and bring in an agent when they need a hand.
@luke_pioneero Good question, and something we designed for from day one. You decide how present each agent is: let it listen and jump in when it has something useful, mute it so it only responds when you @mention it, or remove it from the group and bring it back anytime. The goal is a teammate who knows when to speak, not a bot that talks over everyone.
parallel agents make more sense when the team can review them together
@huahua_lee It helps when two agents come back with different recommendations. With both replies in the group chat, everyone can see where they disagree and talk through which one to go with.
@huahua_lee Agents work in parallel, but everything lands in the same thread, so the whole team can review, compare, and redirect together. Speed from the agents, judgment from the people.
shared memory could be the real win here
@emilyrae It’s especially handy when a different teammate picks up the work. They can ask the agent where things left off without waiting for someone to catch them up.
@emilyrae That's exactly how we see it, Emily! Memory belongs to the whole team, not one chat. It carries across groups, sessions, and agents, so context follows the work instead of resetting every time.
