Taskermate

I first came across the idea for Taskermate whilst working for a leading job board in the UK, back in 2015. The job board would allow companies and recruiters to advertise live jobs for a hefty fee. At the time, this felt normal as it made sense for companies and recruiters to have to pay if they wanted to find their ideal candidate. However, I would often think to myself "what if the everyday person wanted to hire a candidate and what would be the most ideal business model to facilitate this"? After spending years working in online recruitment and later transitioning into market research, the idea continued to live rent-free inside my head. I eventually gave in and decided to launch a mobile application platform called Taskermate. Taskermate has been designed so that users can post adverts for tasks online for free with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Taskermate also allows users to be able to earn extra money by completing tasks using our secure payment system. We go live this summer, but we are opening our doors to beta testers and early adopters who are happy to help us improve the app before launch.
