One thing that would really help teams like mine is a native mobile app with offline mode. So much project work happens on job sites or during commutes, and having to pull up a browser tab just to log a quick task update or check a status feels clunky. Even a read-only offline view would make a huge difference.
One thing I'd love to see is a built-in client approval workflow for deliverables and invoices, so clients can just click approve or request changes right inside the portal instead of needing email follow-ups. Would save a lot of back and forth for our agency.
Finally tried TaskOS this morning and the client portal feature alone is worth it for my small studio. Setting up a project took maybe three minutes and the invoice flow actually connected to the time tracker without me doing anything weird.
